Kempe
Gowda, a local chieftain, buit a mud fort here in 1537.
The legend goes that
he saw a hare chasing a hound and saw it as holy ground
- ideal to start a new city. Come and discover the city
of his dreams, how it began,what he built, who visited,
who took it away from him. Also learn about its various
fascinating occupants over the centuries, the battles
they fought over it and in it, and how it became the
foundation of today's megacity.

Medieval Bengaluru Walk
Walk the streets of the original Old City, where
Bengaluru began life as a 16h century fort town.
This walk is currently under trials and will soon
be launched once we feel it is ready.

head of Avenue Road (less than 1mile from City Railway
Station / UB City/Cubbon Park)
Start time: 7am sharp! The walk ends at 10 am with breakfast.
Tickets: Rs 500 / head (Rs 350 for seniors / kids under 12)
